It's pretty incredible that we've finally got an Avengers movie on the way, let alone one that actually manages to crossover several different superhero projects into one. As cool as it would have been to keep all the same actors just for continuity's sake, there's not a whole of lot of complaining that Mark Ruffalo will be wearing the purple pants of Marvel's jolly green giant.
The actor (who is also making his directing debut with April 29th's Sympathy for Delicious) spoke with ComingSoon.net about that project and dropped a few details on the upcoming epic.
"I've been working a lot with Joss Whedon on the script," Ruffalo told the site, "It's coming along. It's going to be my crack at the green behemoth. It's like my generation's Hamlet. We're all going to get a shot at him."
