National Lampoon brings its own brand of raunchy humor to the sword and sandal genre on March 20 with the DVD and Blu-ray release of The Legend of Awesomest Maximus, starring Will Sasso as a Greek general prophecized to save his country, even though he's a total idiot. The film also stars Rip Torn, Ian Ziering, Adam DeVine, Tony Cox, Deon Richmond, Russell Peters and, perhaps most importantly, Kristanna Loken and Sophie Monk, who – in the grand old National Lampoon tradition – get to make out on camera.
