Word came down from Marvel Studios today that production has finally begun on Iron Man 3, the second sequel in the lucrative Iron Man movie franchise and the first Marvel Studios superhero movie to follow the rampant success of The Avengers. The press release also included the first official behind the scenes image from the set, showing Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark) in front of a wall of Iron Man armors from the previous films. It's a familiar image to fans of the comic books, in which Tony Stark has an almost impossibly large number of armorst to choose from.
