Thankfully, it's a crime drama so while your date is ogling the screen, you can just sit back and watch a good old good guy-bad guy faceoff in Blue Vanentine director Derek Cianfrance's The Place Beyond the Pines. The multi-generational story unfolds after motorcycle stunt rider Luke (Gosling) decides to commit a crime to support his infant child. That decision puts him directly into the crosshairs of a cop-turned-politician (Cooper), putting the two men on a collision course and impacting both of their families forever.
You can see the full movie when The Place Beyond the Pines is located in movie theaters on March 29.
