Fey, Rudd Make the Grade in New Admission Trailer

Tina Fey is an uptight college admissions officer who may break her own rules to get the teen who may be her son in to college in the trailer for the new comedy Admission.

If you're already mourning the imminent loss of "30 Rock," take heart, Liz Lemon fans — she's apparently alive and well and working in the admissions department at Princeton.

In the latest trailer for the new dramedy Admission, Tina Fey plays very Lemon-esque Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Fey), who's caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago.

Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted — but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.

You'll give it a pass or a fail when Admission hits theaters Mar. 8.
