Earlier this week, I tagged along with Game Revolution editor Duke Ferris to Sony’s God of War 3 press conference.
Not only did we get to see the extended new trailer, but also an extensive playthrough by one of the games developers that revealed new play mechanics, weapons, skills, monsters and plot developments. The most shocking reveal was that many of the levels take place in, on or around the mythical "Titans", as they battle to retake Olympus from the Gods. This makes for some interesting set-pieces as some of the levels themselves are living creatures that must be navigated whilst fighting off hoards of undead soldiers.

We talked to the game director and art director of GOW3 about rideable enemies, Titans, human shields and more of the new elements that were debuted here. Take a look!

Also check out these new pics, featuring Kratos' new power-up, the "Helio Head", some skeletons that bleed like crazy even though they're made out of beef jerky, and Kratos doing his best Battletoads impression in a "dodge stuff that's flying directly at you" stage!

I honestly have no idea what's going on in this picture, sorry. Laser beams?
