A look at a video based gaming social network site, fyreball.

So if you haven’t been on your MySpace account lately (don’t lie….you have a MySpace), then you may not know that they have a MySpace video where people can post videos that they found and let the world see them and make comments, pretty much like youtube right? I mean let’s face it MySpace will pretty much grab any freaking thing off of another popular website and make it their own. You can now even tag friends in photos (Facebook?), proving further that MySpace is the web thief of thieves…or at least they were.

A new website has hit the scene which is essentially Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube all rolled into one. Of course what makes it even "cooler" is you can wrap your profile up into a “fyreball” and throw it at your friends, because heaven forbid you just invite them to be your friend like all the other normal websites out there. Of course a huge advantage of this is that if you sign up now then in five months when this sucker inevitably takes off (don’t they always) you will be way ahead of the curve telling your friends that you have been “Fyreballin” for months, and that THEY are the ones who need to get with the program.

Fyreball was created by gamers and not just any gamers, but the founders of freaking Halo, so I assumed at first glance that this would be another pwnd, a website that I actually do find original and actually do enjoy, but upon further inspection I realized that this had absolutely nothing to do with gamers, and was basically a place for media whores to get together and talk about the newest and latest thing. If you are an internet addict like 65% of the world’s population and very much prefer these social webs, then I would suggest heading over to fyreball.com right now so you can start making friends, and keeping your virtual social status as high as possible.
