July seems to be the month of the 2-D fighter. King of Fighters XII has been a title that has gotten a lot of press from us in the past few months. And it's 100% deserving. The title looks slick and has some really crazy characters that look like a blast to fight with. This is a celebration of the franchise's 15th year and for it King of Fighters XII hosts the most robust lineup yet--22 hand drawn characters ranging from the entire SNK history.
The game also features the ability to create your own online clans to take the fight to the world, complete with its own emblem maker. Once online you'll also be able to record and save a bunch of your matches and compete for the ranking of best in the world with online stat and rank tracking.
