Take a ride with Tony Hawk
Here is the debut trailer of the new Tony Hawk game, entitled Tony Hawk: Ride, courtesy of GameTrailers. Most of the footage shown is actual skateboarding clips but if you stick with the video till the very end you'll see what separates Ride from the competition. Looks like the game will be including a skateboard control reminiscent of the Wii Fit balance board. How this thing exactly works, no one knows. But if you visit thride.com, you'll see a disclaimer saying "be the first--6.2.2009" which falls squarely during the opening days of E3. It's a pretty safe bet to guess the first people to try Tony Hawk Ride with the new skating controller will be those attending the E3 conference in early June.

Now we here at Crave love our teaser trailers. They get the blood pumping, and the hype train moving, but when you give us nothing besides the fact that the game could partially take place on an island, that just isn't exciting enough, sorry.
