Hot damn September is a big month for gaming. Spear-heading the assault are two music titles, Guitar Hero 5 and The Beatles: Rock Band (neeed), and the greatly hyped Halo 3: ODST. That right there is $180 if you don't factor in the cost of the plastic instruments needed for Guitar Hero and Rock Band if you're starting fresh. But that's not all this month has in store for gamers looking to shed a few dollars from their wallets. Scribblenauts finally releases, as well as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Basically your wallet is going to be feeling pretty light and you might want to give your significant other a heads up that you won't be spending much time with him/her for the next 30 days.

The Beatles: Rock Band Review
This is the big one for the month of September. Ever since the original Guitar Hero released gamers and music junkies have been begging for Beatles music to jam to with their hard plastic instruments. Well that wait is over. With 45 Beatles tracks right out of the box, The Beatles: Rock Band is the ultimate interactive tribute to the greatest, most influential rock band of all time.
Harmonix even went above and beyond to provide players visuals that match the iconic Beatles' music, perfectly recreating the Cavern Club, their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, jamming in their Abbey Road studio, and performing one of their last "concerts" on the rooftop of the Apple Corp Headquarters. This game is truly a labor of love for Harmonix, as well as Dhani Harrison and Giles Martin, George Harrison and George Martin's son, respectively, who had a large hand in orchestrating this game's production.
And for those that have yet to venture into the realm of Rock Band, the bundle package for The Beatles: Rock Band includes a Hofner bass controller, a drum set modeled after Ringo's Ludwig set, a microphone and mic stand, as well as some more yet-to-be-revealed special content. You will also be able to purchase separately the Rickenbacker 325 guitar, as well as the Gretsch Duo Jet guitar to round out your living room Beatles recreation.
All you need is love, and this damn game. Is it 9.9.09 yet?
