Recently, the world stood united in shock as we lost one of the most high profile pop stars in history, Michael Jackson. Regardless of your personal feelings towards his personal life, there is not a soul alive that has not attempted the illustrious Moonwalk. The King of Pop dabbled in a lot of ventures, and was an innovator like none other. However, one path he traveled down that had been beaten many times before is the world of video games.

The world of licensed games is not unfamiliar, but those licensed or endorsed by pop, rock, and rap stars is peculiar. We're not talking about Rock Band or Guitar Hero, we're talking the good old days where musicians weren't just part of the feature, they were the whole damn thing. Unfortunately, there are not many of these games that don't take the walk of shame. In all his grand success, not even Michael Jackson could avoid this list of awfulness.

10. Michael Jackson's Moonwalker

Moonwalker, based on the film of the same name, puts you in The Gloved One's (moon)shoes and has you rescuing children from the evil Mr. Big, while unlocking your pet chimp Bubbles to give you power-ups. Though the arcade and home console versions varied in gameplay, the idea was the same: cash in on MJ's music video movie. At the same time, though the game was awful, it was still pretty cool to parade around levels to such classics as "Bad", "Beat It", and "Billie Jean". Oh! SOME versions allow you to unlock "Thriller" during the graveyard level. Why this isn't the standard, I'm not sure, but it's still relatively hella cool.

It's a shame that the game still sucked.
