4. Army Men (Pick One)

Let's be honest. Toy Story army men: cool. The first Army Men game: okay, sure. But beyond that, did anyone find the gimmick appealing? So appealing to the point of their being multiple sequels and spin-offs, and even sequels to the spin-offs? You've got the initial series, Air Attack, 3D, Portal Runner, RTS, Sarge's Heroes, Air Combat, and the list just goes on and on. The Army Men series is the epitome of a franchise that elicits only one response from gamers: "Oh wow, another one." This, of course, is a key reaction for a franchise that wishes to be loathed and looked over nearly universally by everyone aside from clueless parents and children under six. 24 games in about 8 years is pretty impressive, but even more so that I've never met anyone that has ever looked forward to one.
