The first official teaser trailer for Battlefield 3 has been released by EA Games and DICE. Give it a watch here:
The trailer doesn’t show much, but it does make Battlefield feel like Terminator. Does it not? Also, the music is very industrial techno-esque, reminding us of the sweet Tron: Legacy score by Draft Punk. Either way, enjoy a blistering forty seconds of warfare ambiguity.
The very end of the trailer confirms a “Fall 2011” release for Battlefield 3.

Then, if you head over to DICE’s official blog you can find more details on Battlefield 3. The game will come with a full single player campaign, co-op campaign, as well as the series’ signature multiplayer with jet and proning action. There will also be 64-player support for the PC version.
Expect more on Battlefield 3 throughout the month, as well as at the Game Developers Conference in March.
