Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops will have some stellar talent attached to it. Returning from Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War is Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, The Professional), voicing Russian WWII solider Viktor Reznov. Ed Harris (Apollo 13, Truman Show) will also be lending his voice to Black Ops as CIA agent Jason Hudson.
But the most important addition to Black Ops is David Goyer (The Dark Knight), who Treyarch and Activision have brought into the mix as a consultant for the script and story. Thank god! Modern Warfare 2 was an absolute mess when it came to story. Having Goyer lending a hand means that Black Ops should, at the very least, make sense now.
“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” said Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.
“Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”
