Two of the biggest titles Nintendo was pimping during this year's E3 were Team Ninja's Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2. We now have official release dates for both titles and, lucky for you, they're pretty soon.
Metroid: Other M will be dropping planetside on June 27, announced at Nintendo's recent media summit event. Meaning, we'll finally get to see what a developer like Team Ninja, famous for Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, can do with a busty babe like Samus Aran in a sweet space bounty hunter outfit.
As for Super Mario Galaxy 2, that will be coming out on May 23 of this year. Now you might be wondering why I didn't announce that date first since it clearly comes before Metroid's June 27th date, but I don't have an answer for you. My brain works in mysterious ways, apparently.
Either way, we're getting Nintendo's two biggest titles of the year within a month timeframe of each other, that's pretty intense. And the fact that we don't have to wait till holiday season to ride on Yoshi or, once again, shoot Ridley, the purple dragon of Metroid fame, in the face is music to our ears.
