I think it's fairly well known that BioShock 2 is going to be hitting stores next week, so with that in mind, we thought it'd be fun to take a look back at a few of the moments of the original game that made us want a sequel in the first place. As a whole, the entire Ayn Rand-influenced narrative is what really engaged me to begin with, but for the sake of creating a list, I'll do my best to break it into pieces.
Though I'll only be discussing a mere five instances that this game blew me away, it would take an article that was ten pages along to fully articulate the awesome power of BioShock. And really, at that point, it just boils down to playing the damn game again.
THERE ARE SPOILERS HERE.
Did you see that? SPOILERS. SPOILERS. If you haven't played BioShock, and you plan on it, read no further.
One last time. Spoilers.

5. "Irony"
One of the most disturbing portions of BioShock was the series of photos you had to take for the sadistic Sander Cohen, who wants vile photographs taken by your avatar to complete his "masterpiece" collage. Moments of justice and pure moral satisfaction are few and far between in the city of Rapture, but upon completion of Cohen's sick treasure hunt, luring the man out into the open to slaughter him wields a sense of accomplishment that surely only psychopaths usually achieve.
