The creators of Castle Crashers have finally settled on a name for their third title, previously codenamed "Game #3", and it's quite literal. BattleBlock Theater is "a story about friendship, betrayal, and a whole truck load of cats." Ok, that description isn't very literal at all when comparing that description with the title of the game, but here's the real skinny, your characters are made up of blocks, they have to battle to survive, sort of like Thunder Dome, and all this takes place in a theater for the audience's amusement, also like Thunder Dome.
Behemoth's official blog sums up the plot of BattleBlock Theater like this, "having shipwrecked on a mysterious island you find yourself both betrayed by your best friend Hatty and captured by the locals. All of this is happening while being forced into deadly performances. This however, is just the start of your problems."
Expect the official game website to launch in a matter of days and more details about the game's plot to hit the internets as we inch closer to release. Until then, enjoy this awesome trailer, full of crying block people, nazi cats, and really freakin' epic music.
