This is coming a little later than expected but we're finally back with part two of our guide to the classes of Combat Arms. Back at the beginning of January we detailed the Tactician. This week is the Sniper. So if you've always wanted to be Tom Berenger, the sniper class is tailored just for you.

Now if you're one of those types who are too lazy to click that above link I spoon fed ya to learn about Combat Arms, let me fill you in. Combat Arms is a free online multiplayer fps. Yes, that kind of free. The one without hidden strings. The game has a massive arsenal of weapons, a dozen maps, and multiple game modes to play. Plus, Combat Arms doesn't restrict you to choosing just one style of play. This way you can figure out how to stay atop the leaderboards while fraggin' to your preferred play style.

Nexon America, the game's developers, are also willing to help. Hence these class guides. So let's get on with it.

Snipers

It might be the most startling aspect of the FPS experience for new players. Amidst wild gunplay, explosions and mayhem on the battlefield, all it takes is one sniper shot to leave a screen splattered in blood. Snipers take a deliberate, methodical approach towards the opposition. Distance is the primary strength of a sniper and there are several large maps in Combat Arms to take advantage of it. Snipers have to watch their flanks and avoid sniping from the same place. Rocket propelled explosives can be a sniper’s best friend – or worst enemy. Combat Arms allows snipers to choose between dangerous bolt-action rifles, which can take down an opponent with one shot, as well as semi-automatic rifles that allow a steady stream of bullets to fly towards an unsuspecting foe.
