Combat Arms Class Guide: Tacticians

Dante here from Crave Online. Our pals over at Nexon sent along this cool guide to building your own custom combatant for thier free online FPS Combat Arms. If you haven't tried it, the game is awesome and did I mention it was free? The next time your sitting with your laptop and nothing to do, make sure you have a mouse and log on. The game has a lot of the same features as popular console FPS's and then some. So, read the guide, build your character and get to fragging.

Combat Arms offers players a vast arsenal of weapons, over a dozen maps, and multiple game modes to enjoy in a free-to-play, multiplayer online first-person shooter.

Plus, Combat Arms offers players the freedom of not being expected to pick just one character style. With so many great options, it’s easy for players to get dizzy trying to figure out how to keep their KDR (kill-death ratio) high and finish at the top of the leaderboard.

Nexon examined three different archetypes of FPS gamers – Tactician, Sniper and Run-N-Gun style players- and has compiled a list of suggestions on how playing to these styles can help you conquer the various maps and challenges in Combat Arms and avoid mockery for being a total noob. Tacticians

Patience and an expansive arsenal of weapons are trademarks of tactical fighters, who rely on plans of destruction to conquer foes. Tacticians work well on a team or alone, and mix mind games with weaponry to manipulate the battlefield. The tactical approach in Combat Arms offers tremendous variety to effectively take down multiple mercenaries at once. Mix and match your gear to carry multiple weapons into battle and look good taking down the opposition. Focus on being a step ahead to cripple enemies with easy kills. Tacticians are best in maps where they can fortify their position or take cover.
