The Yakuza series is a big deal over in Japan. So much so that they have two titles already out, and a third on the way. Meanwhile, us in the Western hemisphere have only the pleasure of enjoying the taste of salty tears. Tears we produce because we can't play any part of the Yakuza franchise. Until now.
The fanboys have spoken and Yakuza 3 is headed state side. Sega Europe's online community manager, Kevin Eva, has finally delivered the grand news via the European Playstation Blog saying, "YAKUZA 3 IS COMING TO THE WEST." Caps lock in full force.

An artistic rendering of what the Western version of Yakuza 3 will look like...
Yakuza 3 will hit the US, Europe, and Australia in March 2010, putting it squarely in the middle of the shitstorm that is Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III. Yakuza 3 will also feature full English subtitling, while still "maintaining the rich Japanese voice actors that bring an extremely engaging atmosphere to the game – this will no doubt please the purists out there!" says Eva.
So for everyone that begged for this, it's time to put your money where your mouth is.
