We're lumping these together because they both came out yesterday. Apparently Tuesday was a box art bananza. There is no other reason for Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2's box art to be in the same article. Nope. There's no conspiracy at all...

But in all seriousness, we though Mass Effect 2 already had set box art? Oh yea, it did. Then that art tested terribly through various internal focus groups and has since been changed to what you'll see below. Which features a more life-like Shephard and crew, a lot more dull colors, and far less a sense of epic space opera.
As for Bioshock 2, the game's cover looks very reminiscent of the first game's cover. However, this time we have a logo with barnacles growing on it and a Big Daddy so angry that he actually cracked the case's plastic.
