The original Excitebike remains one of the greatest video games ever made. Apparently, Nintendo knows this, announcing Excitebike World Rally for WiiWare this morning on the Nintendo Weekly Show on the Wii's Nintendo Channel. The game is a mostly 2D remake of the original title, including the awesome biker doing a wheelie at thegame's title screen and the classic Excitebike theme music. The title comes out on Nintedo's virtual console on November 9. Check out the trailer below, and be sure not to stare into the eyes of these two Nintendo cult members. And whatever you do, stay away from the punch!
