Get Ready to Drop!

The Halo Universe is a robust place to say the least, with a rich history that is the envy of the video game community. With each installment the story becomes deeper and more complex. The most amazing aspect of the Halo games is how hard Bungie and Microsoft work to make the game an experience on top of just being fun. If it’s not their amazing commercials, it’s their inspired shorts and special films. With every release they raise the bar for how games should be marketed and what audiences can come to expect from a game developer.

It seems like there is not a week that goes by without ODST making it into the news. This week is no different with the release of yet another special ODST feature. This feature shows you the opening stages of humanities fight to protect the last bastion of human existence: Earth. The heartless Covenant have destroyed all of humanity's colonies across the stars in a war that has lasted for decades with each game in the franchise giving players new tidbits of information about said war and humankind's struggle against the monstrous Elites and the foul Brutes. ODST being no different.

The Covenant has found Earth and the clock is ticking. As human existence races toward eternal twilight, the Master Chief is nowhere to be found when he’s needed most. The Covenant have taken New Mombasa and have begun to dig up something out of the African soil. Humanity faces its darkest hour and despair has started to sink in. The only hope the people of Earth have left is you and the rest of your ODST squad.
