God, I never thought I would say this, but I envy Guitar Hero 5 owners. You guys get some of the best Queens of the Stone Age music to jam to this coming month. Bastards. But that isn't all, October is a pretty big roll out of DLC for Guitar Hero 5 and could be a good first indicator that Activision is stepping up to the big leagues and making a solid attempt to compete with Harmonix and Rock Band for weekly DLC supremecy.
Every week during the month of October (Rocktober to some) Guitar Hero 5 will see a new track pack starting with Queens of the Stone Age on October 1. The rest of the month will see track packs of Bill Squier, Wolfmother, another classic rock pack, and culminating in an 'All Hallows' Eve' track pack including "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson and a track by the insane GWAR.
