To celebrate their first album in 14 years Alice in Chains is getting a five song track pack this coming week in Rock Band. The pack will include the band's new single, "A Looking in View," from their upcoming album Black Gives Way to Blue, which releases day and date with this Rock Band track pack. The pack will also include “Would?”, which was featured in the soundtrack to the film Singles and won the award for Best Video from a Film at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards. And we all know the MTV VMA's are the most important music award ceremony on the planet.
Breaking Benjamin will be breaking their Rock Band cherry with a three song track pack also strategically releasing on the same date, September 29, as their fourth studio album, Dear Agony. The track pack will include the single from Dear Agony, “I Will Not Bow,” as well as “So Cold,” from the band’s second album, We Are Not Alone, and “The Diary of Jane,” from the band’s third album, Phobia.
Additionally, multi-platinum selling English psychedelic rockers Kula Shaker make their Rock Band debut with “Hey Dude” and “Knight on the Town.” And since it's now the cool thing to be in Rock Band, Just Kait also makes her Rock Band debut with “U Suck,” a song that, if we had to guess from the way it's spelled, seems to indicate a MySpace-esque rant about some boy who broke her angsty little heart.
