Back at the very beginning of the month Sony revealed the God of War Collection, a blu-ray disc that would house the first two God of War titles, letting gamers relive the entire bloody series over again before the final game in the trilogy hits early next year. What is also great about this compilation disc is that it will be playable on all models of the Playstation 3, whether they were backwards compatible in the first place, or not.
But Sony just can't stop sweetening the deal, announcing today that they would also be including a voucher to download the playable demo of God of War III that so many who attended E3 2009 got first hand experience with. Making it now possible for those who didn't make it out to LA for the conference earlier this year able to give it a spin in their underwear without some fat smelly nerd breathing down their neck to play it themselves.
So before God of War III hits in March 2010 you'll be able to get a sneak peak and begin ripping off the wings of beasts, jamming huge knives into the eyeballs of cyclops, and assisting a Titan in ripping apart Mount Olympus all a little bit early thanks to the God of War Collection.
