Take that Gamestop! With the upcoming release of Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog, the game's publishers, have decided not to sell their collector's edition of the game through a bijillion retail outlets, instead opting to take the term "collector's edition" to heart by only producing a limited quantity of their "Fortune Hunter Pack" and offering them up through giveaways on the Playstation.Blog, Playstation Home, and the game's Multiplayer Beta.
The Fortune Hunter Pack of Uncharted 2 will come with a copy of the game (obviously), an art book, a collector's case and a replica of the game's ancient artifact dagger. This collector's edition is also said to include "special downloads" which are most likely multiplayer skins and weapons exclusive for those that win this puppy.

With every game under the sun coming out with a collector's edition these days, it's nice to see Naughty Dog make their version of the "collector's edition" something actually worth...well....collecting. Hopefully, with the limited number being crafted the dagger won't suffer from being mass produced and turn out to be a cheap piece of plastic (*cough* Batman: Arkham Asylum's batarang *cough*)
