This week we are beamed up to the Mothership for information probing

Crave Online's weekly gaming news returns in glorious high-definition! The goal of this feature is to update gamers on a weekly basis with the news that's important, none of the fluff. Every week there is a multitude of gaming news that hits the net. Most of it sucks ass. Who really reads gaming news to find out when the new Barbie game is getting downloadable content? I sure as hell don't, and I'm guessing you don't either. Therefore it's the job of this column to round up the best, most awesome news in the gaming industry, the stuff that makes us excited to be gamers, and condense it into one eatable, bite-size tablet of awesome. So open wide, this pill gets inserted straight up the back-end..

Juggernaut 360 Degree View Screenshot

Got this one in yesterday straight from Activision. They seem to love these 360 degree screen-caps. But in their defense, they are pretty bitchin', and give us a better idea of the character's surroundings and environments in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. And for the eagle-eyed peeps out there, in the background is Songbird, another playable character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. For non comic nerds, Songbird is a member of the Thunderbolts, a government funded team of super-villians tasked with tracking down rogue super-heroes, and has the ability to create "solid sound" constructs, as well as manipulate sound. Plus, she has some pretty hot pink streaks in her hair.

First Prince of Persia Film Posters

Here they are--the first posters for the Jerry Bruckheimer produced, Jake Gyllenhaal starring, Prince of Persia: Sand of Time flick. Now two things stick out right away. Firstly, Jake is actually wearing a shirt. Weird, I know. Second, as the guys at Kotaku pointed out, this doesn't seem very "Persian" themed does it? In fact, it looks nothing like the video game it's based on. But maybe that's a good thing. Cause most video game films are damn awful, hence the seperating themselves from the shittastic dung heap. Otherwise, the posters don't look half bad. The movie has me nervous, mostly because Prince of Persia (Sands of Time especially) is very very close to my heart. And I don't want to see it bent over and raped like most video game adaptations are. Fingers crossed on this one.
