Crave Online's weekly gaming news returns in glorious high-definition! The goal of this feature is to update gamers on a weekly basis with the news that's important, none of the fluff. Every week there is a multitude of gaming news that hits the net. Most of it sucks ass. Who really reads gaming news to find out when the new Barbie game is getting downloadable content? I sure as hell don't, and I'm guessing you don't either. Therefore it's the job of this column to round up the best, most awesome news in the gaming industry, the stuff that makes us excited to be gamers, and condense it into one eatable, bite-size tablet of awesome. So open wide, this pill gets inserted straight up the back-end..
Left 4 Dead 2 Demo For Those That Pre-Order

This has been common place as of late. People who lock themselves into buying a certain game are granted access to a demo of said product. Even though the point of a demo is to sell those who have yet to commit on a product. Seems a little ass backwards, does it not? But in any case, Gamers who pre-order a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 on the Xbox 360 at the retail front, or pre-purchase the game via Steam on the PC end will be granted early access to the game's demo before launch.
No date has been given for the Left 4 Dead 2 demo as of yet, but with the game landing on retail shelves in November, chances are good we will see if before then.
Original Left 4 Dead Still Getting DLC

And for those still on the boycott train, there are still plans for DLC for the original Left 4 Dead. In fact, expect an announcement this Summer. Valve's Doug Lombardi told CVG that gamers will eventually get a clear picture of why the company shipped two different Left 4 Dead games within a year. Someday it will all make sense.
Ghostbusters Invade LBP

Looks like Little Big Planet is being overrun by ghosts and the folks at Media Molecule have the solution. Call the Ghostbusters. In a tease on the company's website, it's pretty obvious we should be expecting some Ghostbusters DLC for Little Big Planet. It's pretty hard to misinterpret that image and tagline. However, what is still unclear is what exactly we will be getting. Is this Ghostbusters material simply some skins and stickers? Or is it level creation content, levels themselves, and all the things listed previously? We hope for the latter.
But until there are more details, laugh over the hilarious teaser image of LBP's Sackboy putting his stamp on the famous Ghostbusters logo.
