Michael Bay is awesome. It's really that simple. The man knows how to rock the gonads right off your body, and no matter what any film snob says, he knows entertaining cinema. Sure, he doesn't direct movies that go down in the pantheon of film classics--such as Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, or Schindler's List--but the man is an auteur of kick-ass action. So we want Mr. Bay to actually make some video game films that people would enjoy watching. So here is a list of five games we would like to see get the Michael Bay touch. We can safely say that if any of these happened, it would surely be amusing.
Contra
We've already established the criteria for a good Michael Bay flick. And Contra skates by two of those with flying colors. Having taken influence from such films as Aliens, Commando, and Rambo, Contra is obviously right down Bay's alley. Being able to direct a film with monsters, aliens, and commandos wearing headbands would probably be a wet dream for the man. But we can't deny we wouldn't share the same experience. Contra also marks the only title on this list that actually makes perfect sense for Michael Bay to get his hands on. The man has shown interest in video game franchises, and Contra is the cream of the crop for the master of action.
