This past Friday a suspicious video hit the internet linking InFamous with Uncharted 2 by saying an "electrifying" announcement about both titles was headed our way on April 26th, 2009.
My initial guess was that InFamous, releasing on 5/26/09, would include a demo for the latter but it seems I was a bit off. Although not entirely. Later on Friday night I ventured out to my local Best Buy to shop around and stumbled upon a reserve box for InFamous. And look what was pasted on the cover:
They didn't do such a hot job keeping the secret, did they? This is the best shot I could get with the crappy camera inside my phone but it clearly says that included with InFamous will be a Multiplayer Beta code for Uncharted 2, which is valid from 6/3/09 till 6/26/09--although you can barely make it out with how blurry the camera shot is. Then this morning Sony made it official with a trailer for Uncharted 2 Multiplayer and confirmed the existance of the beta code being bundled with copies of InFamous. So that's pretty cool news, right? I already planned to pick up a copy of InFamous but this is just icing on the cake. I'm excited to see how well Uncharted translates to a multiplayer experience, so getting a crack at it before the game ships is a win in my book.
