There's a great deal of buzz going around regarding "BlazBlue", the new 2-D fighting games from Arc System Works (creator of the popular "Guilty Gear" series). Maybe all the Street Fighter fanfare over the last year has re-invigorated people's interest in fighting games... Or perhaps Arc System Work's reputation for beautifully animated, anime-inspired artwork and batshit crazy character design is finally finding a mainstream audience. Regardless, gamers seem to be eagerly awaiting the return of AAA 2-D fighting, and BlazBlue: Calmity Trigger looks like it's going to deliver.
