TransformersGame.com has launched

I had a chance to play the first Transformers game tied to the first movie a little while back and found it really enjoyable, the game had great graphics and awesome gameplay. Here’s hoping that the same can be said for their follow up Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The early screen shots look great, and this site will give you special access to all things associated with the game.

The site (www.TransformersGame.com) is interactive in the sense that it is customizable. Visitors will be able to pick their own theme based on their favorite Transformer and that’s just the beginning. Members of the site will receive exclusive updates through email newsletters and get access to concept art, screenshots, and video leading into the launch of the game this summer.

The game will boast a wider assortment of playable characters than the first game and each robot will have unique play mechanics and weapons. The game will also feature real locales like Cairo and Shanghai. It’s a safe bet that if the location is in the film then it will likely find its way into the game. The game will feature a full single player story mode as well as, for the first time ever, an online multiplayer mode as well.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be available for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. There is a PC version in the works as well. Also be on the lookout for Wii and PS2 versions too. Here are some screen shots from the Xbox 360 version of the game.
