Rockstar recently announced the release date and details of their upcoming downloadable content for GTAIV, “Lost and Damned”, available February 17th on Xbox Live.

This DLC will be the first of two planned episodes, starring an all-new protagonist and taking place in Liberty City, dovetailing around the events of the main storyline. Lost and Damned will be as full-featured as supplemental content comes, including new missions, multiplayer modes, weapons, vehicles and even its own soundtrack. I've never been a huge fan of motorcycles in GTA myself, due to the potentially fatal crashes that seem to happen to me anytime I drive over 30 mph, but I must admit the pics look cool:









Rockstar also let us know that the PC version of GTA IV is coming December 2nd, with a cool new feature that allows you to edit your own in-game videos and even program your own personal radio station using your own mp3s. The editing system looks pretty advanced… expect to see one hell of a lot of GTA IV themed machinima popping up on your Intertoobs soon after this version releases.







One last bit of GTA IV news: Those of you nerds out there who completed the game with a 100% completion rate and also joined the Rockstar Games Social Club will soon be receiving an actual, physical key to Liberty city as a reward. This marks one of the first times that early adopting OCD gamers actually received some real-world benefit from their hobby/obsession, and it's an incredibly cool gesture on the part of Rockstar, if you ask me.
