Metal Slug 7 trailer
Are you a Metal Slug fan? Well you should be. Every game in the series is usually a laugh riot that has to be seen to be believed. Ever wonder what it’s like to ride a camel with mini-guns mounted on it? Metal Slug shows you. How about this; have you ever wanted to turn into a zombie and dance something reminiscent of the “Thriller” while shooting? Metal Slug provides. Trust me people, these games are a great time. And with that, the trailer for Metal Slug 7 arrives sporting some sweet “blockbuster movie” sounds and animations. Check it for yourself.
Kirby Super Star Ultra boxart
Here is the cover to Kirby Superstar Ultra, a remake of the SNES classic Kirby Superstar. It boasts the entire original game as well as two new adventure sub-games, three new mini-games, and multiplayer support. Kirby is as happy as we are.

Square Enix is in the process of creating a game called “Pure Dreams” and before you get any wild ideas, no, it’s not what you think. Instead this anthology game will focus on pop-culture icons and this is one of the first to be released. It’s called, “Let’s Go Meet Snoopy and His Friends.” The game caters to young children and is mostly a text, walk around and talk, adventure. So why is this being covered by us? Well it’s pretty cool that you can create your own Charlie Brown universe character, Charles Schulz inspired design and all, to parade around. Let us hope you can make Charlie fall for the ol’ football trick as well. Stupid jackass never learns.
Trackmania DS boxart and game-play
Here is the boxart and the first trailer for Trackmania. While something like this would usually never break me away from all the Mario Kart DS I play, the track creator is rather cool, and something not a lot of racers provide, especially for the Nintendo DS. The game totally reminds me of some sweet Hot Wheels action. If it came stocked with that sweet Hot Wheels great white shark hot road I would own it in a heartbeat.

Who’s ready for some more Cheetah Girls action? Anyone…..anyone!? Ok, seriously, who gives a shit, but this week does have Activision’s entry into the baseball gaming market with Little League World Series 2008. The game looks mildly entertaining but who knows if Activision knows how to make a fun baseball game for a portable system. The week also sees GRID, Quick Yoga Training, and Rock Blast releasing for the Nintendo DS.
This Week’s DS demos on Virtual Console
Are you one of the chosen few that actually own a Nintendo Wii? Do you also happen to have a Nintendo DS? Well if your answer to both was, “yes,” then you can enjoy some Nintendo DS demos straight from your Wii’s Virtual Console. This week’s choices are Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, My Word Coach, Pictoimage, and Crosswords DS. But hurry up, they expire on the 10th of August.
Fashion for your DS
Have you been looking for that accessory that screams, “This is who I am.” Well look no further. It seems a plethora of new stylus types are coming out to help you show off your inner nerd (as if owning a DS wasn’t enough). Your choices come in the Star Wars variety, as well as Mario World themed, including an awesome Mario Kart version. Check out these sweet pictures.
