This is particularly exciting news for those of us that were unable or unwilling to cough up $600 for a system and $200 for a game back when Neo Geo was commercially available.
Although hardly anyone actually owned a Neo Geo, many of us grew up playing the games in the arcades. Neo Geo was perhaps best know for its fighters, such as “The King of Fighters” and “Samurai Showdown”, as well as the ubiquitous “Metal Slug” series.

“Fatal Fury”, “World Heroes” and “Magician Lord” will be the first games available and the games will retail for an average of 900 Wii points (nine dollars).
Japan will be the first to offer games from the Neo Geo platform, but US and European release will not be far behind.
