The first game Jackson will produce is said to be a new Halo game.
Expect Jackson and his partner in the new venture, screenwriter Fran Walsh, to use the same dazzling special effects and sense of otherworldly magic he employed on the LOTR films.
The kiwi said at a conference in Spain his vision is to “push the boundaries of game development and the future of interactive entertainment" with the new games.
No release date has been set for either title.
