Updated Story: Last night at the DICE Summit, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences selected the winners of the Interactive Achievements Awards. And wouldn't you know it, Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim took home top honors, while also pulling in a few other awards in the process. Other standouts include Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and Portal 2.

Original Story: The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) have announced the finalists for the 15th annual Interactive Achievement Awards (IAAs). The Academy’s Peer Panel played more than 100 games this past year to narrow the selections down the list you see below.
The winners will be chosen during the 2012 D.I.C.E. Summit on Thursday, February 9th in Las Vegas. It’s no secret this past year has been bonkers for major gaming releases, making award season all the more difficult. With that said, the AIAS has selected a very good slice of the gaming industry this year to represent the best the industry has to offer.
