EA Games has officially revealed the existence of Battlefield 4 via a new trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Much like the company did to synergize the 2010 version of Medal of Honor and the then-upcoming Battlefield 3 beta, they will do again with Warfighter and Battlefield 4.
The Battlefield 4 beta will launch in fall 2013, developed by DICE. In order to gain access, you’ll have to pre-order the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition, which hits store shelves on October 23, 2012.
EA has also sent over a press release confirming the cross-promotion tactic:
"Though Battlefield and Medal of Honor Warfighter each offer players a completely unique experience, they are united by their underlying technology base - Frostbite. These are two of the hottest shooters, coming together to deliver a one-two punch of action, intensity and shooter entertainment," said Frank Gibeau, President of EA Labels.
