We were recently invited down to developer Treyarch’s studio in Santa Monica, CA to check out the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC, “Revolution.” While we had a fun time messing around with the game’s new content, the real highlight of the day was seeing San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain square off against Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria in a few rounds of Black Ops 2. We tried to raise the stakes to a deathmatch, but no one was biting. Wussies.
On a personal note, my favorite bit of the whole process was when both players ratted out who is the worst gamer on their respective teams. Yet, somehow I doubt those guys lose much sleep over it, considering they make millions throwing balls around and whacking them with a big ol’ stick. ‘Merica, gotta love it.
If you’re interested in picking up the Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC for yourself, you can do so now on Xbox 360 over Xbox Live. The add-on pack costs 1200 MS Points, or is a free download for Season Pass owners. The DLC brings four competitive maps, a new Zombies mode map, plus the ability to play as a zombie, and a new weapon to the game. You can read more about it – as well as watch a trailer – here.
