G4 has officially been rebranded the Esquire Network. And with the name switchover, we can pretty much expect zero video game coverage from NBCUniversal’s new “upscale Bravo for men.” This makes the Next Gen News crew a bunch of sad pandas.

On this week’s show we discuss the downfall of G4 and why the internet might be to blame. We also take some time to theorize if we’ll ever see video game coverage on cable television again, outside the annual Spike Video Game Awards, that is. And lastly, we lament the passing of the network that gave us Olivia Munn. Sleep well, good prince.
