The BAFTA Video Game Awards were held tonight in London, with thatgamecompany’s Journey taking home five awards, including Original Music, Artistic Achievement, Game Design, Audio Achievement and Online Multiplayer. Journey has done quite well this award season, wouldn’t you say?
Dishonored took home Game of the Year at the BAFTAs, while our Game of the Year 2012 pick, Telltale’s The Walking Dead, picked up two awards for Best Story and Best Mobile/Handheld game. Even The Unfinished Swan got some love with Best Debut and Best Innovation, which is no honor to scoff at. You can see the full winners list below (winners are highlighted in red). And a special congratulations to Mr. Gabe Newell of Valve for winning the prestigious BAFTA Academy Fellowship for his contributions to the industry.
