Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ Box Art is Kinda Ugly

Big Boss isn’t photo friendly.

Konami has released the official box art for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and it's reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots' cover where Old Snake was featured with his very content aging face. This time, Big Boss, with his eye patch and battle scars, takes the spot. Now, is it just me or does he look like Joel from The Last of Us? Look below and see for yourself:

Hideo Kojima and Konami are hoping to take the series to a new era with the two upcoming Metal Gear Solid V installments. They've gone as far as releasing Snake's long-time voice actor, David Haytor, and replacing him with the more Hollywood Kiefer Sutherland. The game will also be the first to feature open-world environments. Hopefully this pays off, because nothing would make myself and other Metal Gear fans more than tampering with the award-winning formula we've come to love.
