It's that time of the month again. When the rivers flow red, err.....green. Green for money. The sad news is that if you spent a lot of cash on games in the month of September, prepare to go bankrupt from October's releases. There are a ton of AA titles coming out this month, headlined by the release of two of the most anticipated titles of the year on October 13. Plus there is the launch of the PSPgo on the first of the month. So here we are, the fork in the road, if you don't go any further you can play the fool and get through the month with money frothing from your pockets, but if you proceed you'll surely be roped into buying a shit ton of games over the next thirty days. You've been warned!

Brutal Legend Review
It was a tough call when deciding the most anticipated title of October 2009. On any given day we could have picked Uncharted 2 or Brutal Legend as our top choice, but it just so happens on this day we chose Brutal Legend. What do you need to know about Brutal Legend that isn't already common knowledge? Well for starters it involves the creative genius that is Tim Schafer and his company Double Fine, whose past games are all comedy masterpieces. Jack Black plays the game's lead character Eddie Riggs, roadie turned savior of humanity. And the game takes heavy influence from 1980's Heavy Metal. That's pretty much all you really need to know to understand why it's our most anticipated title of October. Brutal Legend is why the entire month of October was renamed to Rocktober, president Obama's orders.
