Gamespot has gone live with a 20-minute gameplay demo of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Capcom and Slant Six Software’s upcoming cooperative third-person shooter where you get to play as Umbrella operatives. From watching the extended footage, the game definitely takes its cues from titles like Gears of War, with a fixated camera over the right shoulder and a cover system built in. Operation Raccoon City also has a vicious melee combat system, which you get to see in action in the below video. So far things are looking pretty good for the title. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will launch in March 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
