The next content drop for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is right around the corner, announced Activision. On February 21st, Call of Duty Elite subscribers on Xbox 360 will be able to download a single, new map for the multiplayer experience: “Overwatch.”
Here’s what developers Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have to say about the map:
“Overwatch drops you into a construction site atop a New York City skyscraper. The battle takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles. Watch your every step, as a lack of safety barriers surrounding the perimeter leaves nothing between you and a 70 story fall to the ground below.”
Overwatch represents the third content drop for Modern Warfare 3 for Elite subscribers. Activision’s plan is to release over 20 smaller content drops over the next nine months. So prepare yourself for more posts like this one in the future.
PlayStation 3 and PC gamers will get access to Overwatch in a few weeks time.
