2K Games and Gearbox have announced today that Borderlands 2 will be hitting store shelves on September 18, 2012 in North America, September 21st internationally. The game will see release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
In addition to announcing the game's launch date, Gearbox has provided us with a new trailer for Borderlands 2. This lengthy look at the title shows off the game's slick looking environments, a lot of the weapons and unlockable skills, the villain you'll be trying to brutally murder, and all four playable characters -- including a ninja(?) named "Zero." Oh, and it's also got a dancing robot. So, yea, there's a lot going on here.
