Adelaide Kane was born in Claremont, Western Australia, Australia. Growing up and even now, she was always interested in music, especially singing. However, while in attendance at St. Hilda's Anglican School for Girls during her 11th year in 2006, she entered and won a contest with Dolly magazine which granted her a three-month contract on the popular Australian soap opera, "Neighbours." She was to play a character by the name of Lolly. However, for this to happen, Adelaide had to move (along with her family) to Melbourne, where the series was produced.
As it turns out, after Adelaide's contract was up in December 2006, it was not renewed, and she was released from the show. Interestingly enough, her character had not even made her first appearance on the series prior to her exit, with all of her episodes not airing until 2007. Luckily, it all worked out, and by 2009, Adelaide was a cast member on "Power Rangers RPM," which she starred on for 32 episodes. From here, her acting career continued to blossom, first being cast in her first Tv movie for NBC titled "Secrets of the Mountain," then her first web series, "Pretty Rough."
By 2013, Adelaide's career gained the most momentum yet, as she first starred in the horror film, "The Purge," which was a surprise hit, and then was cast as Cora on the extremely popular teen drama series, "Teen Wolf." From here, she would soon make her way to The CW series, "Reign," where she played a fictionalized version of Mary, Queen of Scots.
