Aimee Richelle Teegarden was born in Downey, California on October 10, 1989. Like many aspiring actresses, she dabbled in a bit of modeling growing up as well. In fact, this is where she got her start. Before hitting it big on the television series "Friday Night Lights," she had done ad campaigns for such brands as Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, Hollister, and YMI jeans. By this time, she was also starting to make a name for herself as an up and coming actress.
It wasn't until the age of 14 that Aimee was credited with her first television role on the CBS series, "Cold Case." By 2006, she had landed herself a guest spot on the extremely popular children's series, "Hannah Montana." Of course, that very same year, she wound up playing Julie Taylor on what would go on to be a five seasons of "Friday Night Lights," which was based off of the film by the same name. This lead to more and more guest roles on shows such as "90210" and both "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Once "Friday Night Lights" came to a close in 2011, Aimee made her way to bigger and better, starring in films such as "Scream 4" and Disney's "Prom," as well as the internet series, "Aim High," centered around a high school student who is also a spy.
As for her free time, Aimee is highly devoted to the vegan lifestyle, and has been a vegetarian her whole life. She has even appeared in anti-fur campaigns for the activist group, PETA. Along those lines, she is also a proud supporter of Oceana, a non-profit ocean conservation organization.
