Known for her beautiful, big blue eyes, American actress Alexandra Daddario is most famous for her role as Annabeth Chase in “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.” If you don't agree, you are probably more familiar with her roles in comedies such as “Hall Pass” and FX comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
Alexandra Anna Daddario was born in New York City, New York on March 16, 1986. She was raised on the Upper East Side by her parents, who both happen to be lawyers. Like many in the acting profession, she knew it was her passion at an early age. In fact, she was already cutting her teeth in commercials for Barbie dolls by the time she was 11-years-old.
At age 16, Alexandra was cast in her first television role as teenager Laurie Lewis on the hit soap opera “All My Children.” Largely because of this and wanting to pursue acting all the more, she left the private, all-girls Brearley School in New York City in favor of the Professional Children's School in New York so she could focus on honing her skills. She worked on the soap from 2002 to 2003. And from there, although it took a little time, eventually the roles began to flood in.

Alexandra’s career in television stated out like many others. That is to say, she picked up dual guest-spots on “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” playing different characters each time. She’s also had guest roles on other famous shows such as “The Sopranos,” “Damages,” and “Nurse Jackie,” as well as recurring roles on “White Collar” and “Parenthood.” Most recently, she starred as Ruby Taft on an episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
As for her feature film career, although it hasn’t blown up quite yet it is well on it’s way. After starting off rather slowly with a minor role in “The Squid and the Whale,” eventually Alexandra began nabbing bigger and bigger roles in films such as “The Babysitters,” “Bereavement,” “Hall Pass,” and “Texas Chainsaw 3D.” Her most notable role to date came from 2010’s “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief,” playing Annabeth, the daughter of goddess, Athena. She was even nominated for a Teen Choice Award for “Breakout Female” for the role.
On January 12, 2014 on HBO, the highly-anticipated series "True Detective" premieres. Daddario will play the role of Lisa Tragnetti, and if the topless photos that are already going around the internet of her character are any indication, she and the show will be a huge hit.
